Hello!

Welcome to your gateway to my experience on the Appalachian Trail (AT).

Growing up in Northwest New Jersey, very close to the AT, I spent many days hiking with my parents, and it became a dream of mine to one day thru-hike the AT. In Summer 2003, I was working at a Girl Scout Camp in Michigan and met my "other half" Beaker, and we talked about how neat it would be to one day thru-hike together. Now, nearly five years later, our dream is becoming a reality! We are joined by Rocko, a former camp director I met in Summer 2005 in Arizona working at a different Girl Scout Camp. Fortunately for us, Rocko's hiking partner dropped out in Summer of 2007 and has joined us as our resident long-term backpacking expert and gourmet backpacking chef!

This trip has taken lots of planning, but I'm excited to be able to share the experience with you all!



There's a trail that I'll be hiking just to see where it might go.
Many places yet to visit, many people yet to know,
